Isn't it expensive to have digital files printed? This is going to end up costing me a lot. You may be surprised at how affordable a quality lab can be. A 10x15 inch print costs just £2.99 at the one I recommend, for example. When should I come for my maternity session? Around 34-36 weeks. It's late enough in your pregnancy to capture your nice round belly but early enough that you won't be caught short by an early arrival (hopefully!) and aren't too big to comfortably get down on the ground for posing. Please book early to ensure session availability at the right time. When should I bring my baby for a newborn session done? The earlier the better but certainly before your baby is three weeks old. This is for a number of reasons: - he / she will still have that precious brand new look (it's amazing how quickly they start filling out) - your baby will still stay nice and curled up - by six weeks, for instance, arms will be stretching out and legs will be kicking - still in the sleepy phase and will be more likely to stay asleep while being positioned - before the three-week growth spurt (come around that time and you're likely to spend most of the session feeding) - baby acne flares up at around three weeks of age Please let me know that you'd like to book a session before your baby is born (and let me know your due date) so I can plan for your session within a certain time frame. Can I bring a change of clothes? You certainly may. I'll leave the room to give you privacy while you change outfits. Can I have a change of backdrop during my session? Certainly. Please indicate all backdrop choices on your booking form. Do I have to take off my clothes for my maternity session? The session will progress to your comfort level and be as modest or revealing as you'd like. Rest assured that if you would like nude maternity portraits the session is handled with sensitivity and I won't actually see any of your bits, so no need to feel shy! What if I would like to order products through you? You are more than welcome to order additional prints, framed portraits, digital art, albums or canvases.
